Matters of the heart 77 – July 2018

Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance It is the Lord Christ whom you serve. Colossians 3:23-24

I have not written in matters of the heart for a few weeks because life was a bit stormy you cannot make this stuff up.  Nothing new for me because when you are on the enemies hit list and you are doing the work of the lord it goes with the territory.  Make sure your armor has no holes and pray without seizing; be confident like Job, when he said, “though he slays me yet will I trust him” and as bold as the three Hebrew boys, if he does not come he is still my God, and I will not bow down to any idles.  One thing I know about being a woman of faith when the lord gets tired of man’s foolishness he will step in. Doing what’s right does not come easy for some people. Many decisions are made because of self-interest, politics, economics, favors and favorite people even if the person is unqualified and has proven they are destructive. Throughout my life, I have seen people in leadership make poor decisions because of several reasons that would not benefit a business or the kingdom of God. I have lived long enough to see individuals destroy franchises, send it spiraling downward because of poor choices and dislike for the person who was producing for the company. We must begin to do what’s right leave our insecurities, competitive, coveting spirits, controlling spirits and egos at the door for the sake of the glory of God. I write as a witness, do your work for God the lord needs bold soldiers; the lord requires people who will walk by faith regardless of the outcome, and Christ will reward you not man.  Even when your overlooked and people know you can advance the ball for the kingdom, continue to do the lords work and know that your inheritance will come from God.
