Matters of the heart 89 – September 2019
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 32:6 KJV
I have not written in matters of the heart I believe since April of 2019. So much has happened, I don’t know where to begin; Highs and lows, ups and downs, good and bad, eventful and uneventful. The song that is coming to my spirit right now is I have a testimony the stanza states “when I look back over my life, and I begin to think things over I can truly say that I’ve been blessed I have a testimony. Through it all the 23rd psalm of David reminds me surely, meaning I am confident, that no matter if life is good or bad, happy or sad, I am sure Gods goodness and mercy will be with me. No insurance policy, created by man has eternal value; then the lords’ goodness and mercy (love) that will follow me all the days of my earthly life, because this means the Lord is with me if I continue to commune with him. The lord never let’s go of the relationship; we do, and when you stay in the relationship with the lord and continue to commune with God your faith will grow, and you will be able to say like David, with confidence surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my earthly life.
