The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18 NIV)

My heart broke for the people in Sutherland Texas at First Baptist Church.  The Enemy is real; this is not the first attack at a house of worship. Whatever one wants to label it mental illness, crazy, etc. the bible tells us Satin comes to kill, steal, and destroy.  As a Christian I know they are in a better place.  Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal, but it still hurts, no matter how much we quote the right scriptures, the Bible reminds us that Jesus wept, and I am so glad the Lord is close to the broken-hearted.  The enemy came to the house of worship, not the mall, not the bank or supermarket, not the bar or a strip club but a place where a body of believers worships our risen Savior.  I will continue to leave my house and worship with a family of believers because the enemy wants us to stop gathering together, let us remain vigilant as the Bible instructs and keep our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ in Prayer as they begin the healing process regarding this devastating tragedy.  Remain encouraged, God Bless.
