And now these three remain faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13
Today is Valentines; a day set aside for people of all ages to demonstrate love. No matter how mundane it gets, or an inconvenience, I will forever be a romantic at heart. One thing I love about love, no matter how we try to destroy love, express love, fake love, and call something love that isn’t; we can never damage true love because there is no greater love than the love of God. Love is patient; love is kind. It does not envy; it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. All these characteristics of love are everything God is and everything we should aspire to be. We are so blessed to be the recipient of the overflowing expression of God’s love towards us, shed blood for the remission of our sins. A love that does not expire give up or out. Every day is a vast expression of God’s love toward us. I pray that after you have searched all over you come to realize there is no greater love than the love of God. Remain encouraged. God bless you.
