Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. (Proverbs 4:23 NIV)

The Scripture often reminds us of the greatest gift being the gift of love also the importance of the fruits of the spirit, which is being Christ-like in all your ways; especially since we are followers of Christ. I cannot speak for anyone else, but my preference is to be kind, to treat others the way I would like to be treated, but many people do not feel this way. Quite often negative behavior stems from experiences from childhood and on the journey of life. The scripture reminds us to stop putting the wrong behavior on the devil; sometimes it’s just our evil desires and ways. Quite often people are manipulative, unkind and outright nasty, they start out one way and end up another.   In psychology, it is called presenting the false self, but eventually, your true self-supersedes who you tried to be. We must be vigilant and not put our pearls before undeserving people

We cannot fix people, but we can guard our hearts and continue to pray for individuals who are struggling with strongholds in their life. We serve a God that specializes in the things that seem impossible. Anything or anyone that causes us unhappiness and to lose our joy and our peace and loving kindness that God continues to show toward us, put your sneakers on and run. God has given us the opportunity to live an abundant life, and we should pray for wisdom.   I Encourage you to guard your heart and do not allow the enemy to steal your joy, take it back, snatch it back and live your best life. Lord God continue to surround me with your love and help me to radiate your love in a cruel world, but remember to guard my heart in the process, because when you want to live your life reflecting God, the enemy is never happy. God Bless
