When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? All day long they twist my words; all their schemes are for my ruin. (Psalm 56:3-5 NIV)
As a follower of Christ, trying to be about my father’s business we must always be mindful, that Christ was not the only one with a Judas in his crew some of the people right around you have Judas tendency. The Lord has an assignment for each one of our lives if we want to be used by God. There is no need for me to desire someone who has anointed vocals for God’s glory or someone who can play the organ and piano and have the angels in heaven dancing and singing. So, because I do not have those gifts, better yet the qualifications, I am going to covet and scheme to ruin them? The devil is a liar. I stand in high expectation for what God has in store for my life and how the Lord will use me for his glory. I remember working in a maximum-security prison, and it was not always the inmates who were the problem, it was my colleagues and coworkers sometimes acting worse than the prisoners. The same can be true in the body of Christ; if we can all get on one accord, for God’s glory and stop trying to tear people down and keep our focus on what God would have for us to do for such a time as this. There are so many lost souls and individuals who have powerful, strongholds in their lives such as drug addiction, prostitution, and mental illness. Instead of allowing the enemy to confuse the body of Christ, we must do whatever it takes to stay focus on the work of God.
I will remain optimistic and hopeful that we can put on our team glory t-shirts physically and spiritually. Someone told me, not everyone is in Christendom for Jesus, so true. Let us who are indeed working for the kingdom, put our trust in God and know we are victorious, despite the obstacles and foolishness. Weapons may form, but will not prosper. Grant, it, I may not like a lot of things that I see and have experienced in the body of Christ, we must all be humbled for we were born in sin and sharpened in inequity, but for his grace and mercy that has brought us through all our mess. We must continue to remain prayerful for those fighting the good fight of faith. Let’s remember we all have sinned and fallen short of Gods glory, but do not forget to build people up not tear them down, especially when it comes to kingdom business. My mother use to say if you cannot help, stay out of my way because it will be more of a mess. Stop allowing yourself to be used by the enemy if you say you belong to the colony of heaven. Let us cease to be a part of the problem and ruin of people in the body of Christ, which is the work of the enemy, let your hands be clean. Start being a part of the solution. God Bless
